Employment Verification

Digital People provides employment and wage verifications through The Work Number. The Work Number is an automated service that provides instant employment and income verification to those who request it. This fast and secure service is used when applying for a mortgage or loan, for reference checking, leasing an apartment or any other instance where proof of employment or income is needed.

Are you a talent or internal associate who has been asked to provide verification of your employment or income with Digital People?

You will be asked to provide a salary key to any individual who is requesting verification of your income. A salary key is not required when you must verify your employment only. A salary key may be obtained by following these simple instructions:

  1. Click on the ePayroll link in the left-hand navigation menu.
  2. Log into your personal ePayroll account by entering:
    • Your Social Security Number
    • Your PIN (your PIN is your employee ID)
  3. Click the ‘W-2 Services’ icon.
  4. Click ‘Consent for Online Delivery’
  5. Follow the instructions to register for online access to your W-2.

Are you attempting to obtain employment verification for a Digital People employee?

To obtain employment verification only:
  1. Access The Work Number at www.theworknumber.com/verifiers, or call our automated phone line at 1-800-367-5690.
  2. Log in through your secure account with The Work Number. If you do not have an account, registration is free.
  3. Enter the Employee’s Social Security Number.
  4. Enter Digital People’s Employer Code: 11424
  5. The employment verification will be provided to you immediately.

Are you attempting to obtain employment and income verification for a Digital People employee?

To obtain employment and income verification:

Our employee must first provide you with a salary key. Our employees must request a salary key by following the instructions listed above. Once the employee has provided you with their salary key, you may obtain verification by following these instructions:

  1. Access The Work Number at www.theworknumber.com/verifiers, or call our automated phone line at 1-800-367-5690.
  2. Log in through your secure account with The Work Number. If you do not have an account, registration is free.
  3. Enter the Employee’s Social Security Number.
  4. Enter Digital People’s Employer Code: 11424
  5. Enter the six-digit Salary Key provided to you by the Digital People employee.
  6. The employment and income verification will be provided to you immediately.

Are you a social service agency attempting to obtain employment and wage verification for a Digital People employee?

Simply follow these instructions:

  1. Register with The Work Number at http://theworknumber.com/ or by phone at 1-800-996-7566. All agencies must register to use this service. It takes about five minutes to complete the application. If you are already registered and need additional help, please call The Work Number Client Service Center at 1-800-996-7566.
  2. Once you have completed the application, enter your registered fax number.
  3. Enter Digital People’s Employer Code: 11424
  4. Enter the Employee’s Social Security Number.
  5. Select the type of verification you require. You may verify employment or employment plus income.
  6. The employment and income verification will be provided to you within five business days.
